Simon West is the founder and CEO at Silver Maple Strategies and the Director of Finance & Human Resources at the Maine State Chamber of Commerce. A Maine native, Simon grew up in the Waterville area before settling in Sidney with his wife Alicia, their son Noble, and dog Willow. Simon received his undergraduate degree from the University of Maine at Augusta and his MBA from Thomas College. Prior to his role in the association space with the State Chamber, Simon developed a broad professional background by working in retail, banking, manufacturing, and construction. Simon is also the Treasurer for several nonprofits. This diverse experience has given Simon the opportunity to build a career around the intersection of finance and operations in a variety of environments.
